academic affiliations
I have been involved in the past several years in a variety of university supervision, teaching and research endeavors in parallel to my private-sector interests, which include:

Since 2004 I have been involved with the the Interdiscipinary Telecommunications Program at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and from 2005-2008 I was appointed as Director of the program and was the program's chief academic officer, responsible for general oversight of admissions, administration, curricular development, oversight of over 17 adjunct faculty and general budget management for $1.5m in tuition revenue. Since mid 2008 I have retained an affiliation as an Assistant Professor Adjunct. I have taught various courses in the program, some of which are cross-listed with the law school: International Business Law, Standardization and Standards Wars, Seminar, Capstone. It is a position that I hold part time.
- Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium. In 2008 I was invited to Leuven as a Guest Professor to lecture on spectrum-management issues and to participate in academic activities connected with the Interdisciplinary Centre for Law and Information Technology (ICRI). Previously, from 2002 - 2004, I was a lecturer and fellow at ICRI during the period that I completed my Ph.D. studies. My dissertation advisor was Professor Jos Dumortier.
- Universität St.Gallen, Switzerland. In 2005 and 2007 I lectured wireless telecommunications for the Universität St.Gallen. This is also a university where I previously received a Master's degree, an MBL. I have also lectured for the university at modules through the University of Texas at Austin.
