I am Policy Counsel, Open Internet at Google. Prior to that, from 2004 through 2010 I did government relations and regulatory support for regulated CLECs like NextG Networks and Sunesys, and supervised the regulatory and government affairs for the buildout of networks that are used by the world's major wireless carriers (Verizon, AT&T, Nextel, MetroPCS, Cricket). I was also involved in European work for a former international subsidiary of Comcast in the Wireless Local Loop business. Since 2004, I have split my time in the private sector and served as an academic at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where I was previously the Faculty Director for the Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Program and at the School of Law (and now hold a position as Adjunct Professor). | address: |
